AT (AirtelTigo) airtime is a separate product from MTN and Telecel on Ewale. Picking the wrong network still takes money and credits a number that may not be the one you meant.
Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.
What you need
- The AT number you want to credit.
- A funded mobile money wallet.
- Time to finish the USSD session before it drops.
The flow on *714*22#
- Dial *714*22#.
- Choose Telco → Airtime → AT / AirtelTigo.
- Enter the number. Confirm the digits come back as you typed them.
- Enter the amount and approve the PIN.
After you pay
AT credit is usually instant. Save the SMS. Support needs the reference, not a screenshot of the USSD screen after it closed.
Glo numbers
Ewale also lists Glo on some airtime menus. Use the Glo row for Glo SIMs. Do not send Glo credit through the AT option.
If something fails
- Wrong network selected: You cannot convert an MTN airtime sale into AT. Buy AT on the AT row.
- Session dropped: Look at MoMo history before retrying.
Match the menu to the SIM. The number alone is not enough if you picked the wrong operator.
