The old roadside card and the Ewale voucher are the same class of product: paid access to a result. The difference is delivery and how you store the secret.
Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.
What you need
- A choice of channel: shop card or *714*22#.
- A place to store serial and PIN.
The flow on *714*22#
- If you want digital, dial Ewale and buy once.
- If you already scratched a card, use that card first.
- Only buy the other format if the first voucher is proven unusable.
After you pay
Two working vouchers are two fees. That is fine for two candidates. It is waste for one candidate with one index number unless WAEC requires multiple checks.
If something fails
- Illegible scratch: A bad physical card is a shop problem. A missing SMS is an Ewale support problem. Do not mix the complaints.
- Buying digital because the card “might be fake”: Try the card on WAEC first if you already paid for it.
Pick one working voucher. Finish the check. Spend more money only for a real second need.
