A WASSCE result checker is not a PDF and not the result itself. It is a voucher — serial and PIN — that you type on the WAEC result site or the checking shortcode WAEC publishes for that year.
Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.
What you need
- The decision that you need WASSCE, not BECE.
- A wallet that can take the amount on the confirmation screen.
- The paying number, because that is where the SMS voucher usually arrives.
The flow on *714*22#
- Dial *714*22#.
- Choose Education / result checker.
- Select WASSCE. Do not pick BECE to “try”.
- Confirm the amount. Approve the PIN.
- Keep the SMS. It contains the serial and PIN.
After you pay
Use the voucher on WAEC’s official checker. Ewale does not host results. One voucher is typically one full result check as WAEC defines it that year.
Index number vs checker
Your index number identifies the candidate. The checker voucher pays for access. You need both. Ewale sells the voucher, not the index number.
If something fails
- Bought BECE by mistake: That voucher will not open WASSCE results. Buy WASSCE as a new product.
- No SMS: Wait, check the inbox, then support with the debit reference. Do not buy a second voucher immediately.
Finish one exam type. Save the SMS before you delete threads.
