“Check WASSCE results” is two jobs. First you buy a WAEC voucher. Then you type that voucher on the official WAEC Ghana portal. Ewale does the first job. WAEC does the second.
Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.
What you need
- A WASSCE checker — not a BECE voucher.
- The candidate’s index number (usually 10 digits).
- A browser for ghana.waecdirect.org.
The flow on *714*22#
- Dial *714*22# or open ewalepay.com.
- Open Results Vouchers / Education and choose WASSCE / Nov-Dec.
- Confirm the cedi amount on the summary. Approve one MoMo PIN.
- Copy serial and PIN from the SMS.
- On ghana.waecdirect.org, enter index number, exam type, year, serial, and PIN.
After you pay
Results display on WAEC’s site, not in the Ewale app. Save or print the page. Do not buy a second checker because the portal was slow.
School vs private
Pick WASSCE (School) or WASSCE (Private / Nov-Dec) on the portal to match how the candidate registered. The Ewale voucher type is the same WASSCE / Nov-Dec checker.
If something fails
- Invalid PIN: Swap serial and PIN fields, drop spaces, and confirm the year is 2026 (or the year they sat).
- Lookalike website: Stop. Prefer the address WAEC publishes. Fake pages harvest vouchers.
Voucher from Ewale. Grades from WAEC. One confirmed debit unless you truly need a second candidate.
