How to check BECE results online in Ghana (2026)

BECE results are not CSSPS placement. The checker voucher shows WAEC grades. School placement is a different, usually free, portal.

Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.

What you need

1. A BECE checker voucher from Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#).
2. The JHS candidate index number.
3. The official BECE checker: eresults.waecgh.org (or the URL WAEC publishes that year).

The flow on *714*22#

1. Dial *714*22#. Choose Results Vouchers, then BECE.
2. Pay once. Wait for serial and PIN by SMS.
3. Open eresults.waecgh.org. Select BECE School or BECE Private.
4. Enter index number, year 2026, serial, and PIN. Submit once.

After you pay

If grades show, screenshot and print. Placement comes later on cssps.gov.gh and does not consume this voucher.

Café printing

You can check on a phone, then send the screenshot to a café. You do not need to buy the checker at the café if you already paid on Ewale.

If something fails

• Bought WASSCE instead: That PIN will not open BECE. Buy BECE as a new product.
• Two parents paid: You now have two vouchers. Use one. Keep the other for a sibling or a second allowed check.
