Parents buying BECE checkers on results week often mix the exam type. Ewale will sell whichever row you confirm. A WASSCE voucher does not unlock BECE, and the reverse is also true.
Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.
What you need
- Certainty that the candidate sat BECE.
- The paying phone close by for the PIN and the SMS.
- A plan for who keeps the serial — the candidate or the guardian.
The flow on *714*22#
- Dial *714*22# or use ewalepay.com.
- Open Education → BECE.
- Confirm the product name on the summary. Approve once.
- Copy serial and PIN from SMS before the thread is deleted.
After you pay
Placement (CSSPS) is a different process from buying the checker. The voucher only lets you see results the way WAEC provides them.
If something fails
- Shared family phone: Agree who approves the PIN so two people do not buy two vouchers.
- Vendor scratch card still in the bag: Do not buy digital and physical “to be safe” unless you need two checks.
BECE on the menu means BECE on the voucher. Read that word before the PIN.
