Mobile money can show a debit while Ewale is still issuing the voucher. That in-between state looks like failure. It is usually the first sale still working.
Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.
What you need
- The debit reference.
- The time you paid.
- Access to SMS and, if you have data, the Ewale web history.
The flow on *714*22#
- Wait several minutes. Results-week traffic is real.
- Search SMS for Ewale, serial, or PIN.
- If nothing arrives after a reasonable wait, use *714*22# Support or walletewale@gmail.com — not a second Education purchase.
After you pay
When the voucher arrives late, you already paid. Using it is the next step. Buying again is how people end up with two PINs and a thinner wallet.
If something fails
- Pending then success: Use the voucher you got. Ignore the urge to “complete” it with another debit.
- Pending then reverse: If the wallet reverses, the voucher was not delivered. Then you may buy again.
Pending means wait. Reverse means retry. Success means stop buying.
