You do not need the AT app to attach a data bundle. Ewale’s USSD path runs on any GSM phone. You only need the destination number and a wallet that can approve a PIN.

Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.

What you need

  1. The AT number.
  2. A wallet PIN you can enter before the session times out.
  3. The pack as listed — do not invent a custom size unless the menu offers it.

The flow on *714*22#

  1. Dial *714*22# from the phone in your hand — it does not have to be the AT SIM you are crediting.
  2. Choose Data → AT.
  3. Enter the AT number, pick the pack, confirm, approve.

After you pay

The buying phone can be MTN. The receiving SIM must be AT. Mix those up and you have paid for the wrong product.

If something fails

  • Buying from an MTN phone: That is fine. Destination number is what matters.
  • App download prompts: Ignore them for this payment. USSD already completed the sale.

Feature phones can finish this flow. The app is optional. The PIN is not.
