Consumers buy value. Merchants collect and settle. Both may see *714*22#, but a merchant withdrawal is not an ECG token and should not be treated like one.
Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.
What you need
- A merchant Ewale wallet you actually own.
- The correct menu for earnings / withdrawal, not a consumer bill row.
The flow on *714*22#
- Dial *714*22# or sign in on ewalepay.com.
- Open the merchant / wallet section, not Telco or TV Bills.
- Confirm the destination wallet or bank details Ewale shows.
- Approve the prompt. Keep the receipt.
After you pay
Settlement timing depends on the rail. A pending payout is not a reason to run the same withdrawal twice.
If something fails
- Used the airtime menu: That buys airtime. It does not withdraw merchant float.
- Duplicate withdraw: Check ledger first. Two successes are two payouts.
Know whether you are a customer buying value or a merchant moving float. The menus are different on purpose.
