Parents searching “find BECE index number” are one step from checking. The other step is the voucher. Do not pay a stranger to “locate” an index that the school already printed.
Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.
What you need
- The candidate’s school contact or slip.
- Date of birth for CSSPS later — not required to buy a checker.
The flow on *714*22#
- Ask the JHS for the WAEC index.
- Write it with a zero if it starts with zero.
- Buy BECE on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#).
- Enter that index on the official BECE portal.
After you pay
For placement you will type index + year suffix on cssps.gov.gh. That is still not a paid checker.
If something fails
- Guessing the last digits: WAEC will not correct you. You may burn a voucher use.
School has the index. Ewale has the voucher. You bring both to WAEC’s page.
