CSSPS placement is not a paid BECE checker

Two tabs: grades and school. Paying for the wrong tab is the most expensive mix-up in September.

Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.

What you need

1. To know which question you are asking.

The flow on *714*22#

1. “What school?” → cssps.gov.gh (free in recent cycles).
2. “What grades?” → BECE voucher on *714*22# → WAEC.
3. Do not type serial into CSSPS.
4. Do not type date of birth into Ewale.

After you pay

Unplaced candidates follow GES self-placement instructions on CSSPS, not a second Ewale PIN.

If something fails

• Sold a CSSPS checker at a kiosk this year: Verify against cssps.gov.gh. GES has said checking placement is free.

Free portal for school. Paid voucher for grades. Keep the receipts in the right pocket.
