USSD session dropped mid-payment

A dropped *714*22# screen is not automatically a failed payment. Check the PIN prompt and wallet history before you start again.

Pay on *714*22# in 30 seconds

Airtime, bills, TV, and checkers — any phone, no app.

*714*22#

Incoming calls, weak signal, and slow feature phones kill sessions. Ewale may already have sent the wallet prompt. The closed menu cannot tell you that.

Payments happen on Ewale (ewalepay.com or *714*22#), not on this blog.

What you need

  1. Wallet history.
  2. Notification shade for a waiting prompt.

The flow on *714*22#

  1. Look for a prompt. Approve or decline it consciously.
  2. Look for a debit.
  3. Redial only if both are absent.

After you pay

If the session died before you reached confirm, you likely did not buy anything. If it died after confirm, assume a prompt exists until history says otherwise.

If something fails

  • Redial while prompt is open: You may create a second order.
  • Call waiting: Finish Ewale or finish the call. Not both at once.

Treat a dropped session as “unknown” until history speaks.

Keep *714*22# saved. It is the backup that works when OTP, data, or Play Store fail. One shortcode also pays Ghana Water and TV bills.
